We apology for the inconvience on the forum; we hope to see you back as the forum is totally cleaned up now!

Heavy Metal Bulletin 19/03/2007:
* Wow, it's been a long time since the last update of Holland Heavy Metal! Sorry for the inconvenience, but we're just humans after all. Anyway; most important update is the realisation of a new forum. As spammers found their way to the forum we had to make a new one; but please register and participate in the metal discussion! As you can see, some new band profiles have been added too! Soon you will find new video's & songs too here.
* People who didn't attend the Rusty Cage anniversary festival truely missed something. Defender, Jewel & L.W.S. played since years and played fantastic. Defender will also play Keep it True in Germany and Up the Hammers in Greece in a few weeks.
* Almost all members left Powervice and it looks like the band split up. Maybe the most promising Dutch metal band is no more, we hope the ex-members will return in another blasting metal project very soon!
Heavy Metal Bulletin 31/10/2006:
* Finally an update again from our side! It seems hackers and spammers have made it to our guestbook. This means that our guestbook will be offline for a while. But our forum is still open for discussion and we'd appreciate any participation!
* The 2006 edition of the Heavy Metal Maniacs festival has passed again! Next to great bands like Nightmare, Grim Reaper, Sacred Steel, Double Diamond and Lonewolf the two ("new") Dutch bands Snakes and Sirens & Accelerate left a great impression! Be sure to check 'em out!
* We can proudly mention that both Exploder and Spartacus informed us about a reunion. Hopefully more information will follow soon!
* Methusalem have refreshed their website and have found a new vocalist. This is certainly no new guy to the band, as he's Methusalem's guitarist and has done vocals in an earlier state.
* Just to inform; Martyr did a good gig at the Tilburg Headbangers Festival. The band played a lot of their classic songs, and even on a tiny stage they did really impress the audience. For some pictures, check out the Martyr website!
* Red Dragon has opened a website. The band who did their first gig in years on the Tilburg Headbangers Festival are 'back in bussiness'. You can visit their website on the next location: http://www.reddragon-theband.com/
Heavy Metal Bulletin 06/9/2006:
* Lords of metal published interviews with all bands on Rusty Cage Records, and also the guys behind the labels. Click on the links to read the interviews on Lords of metal: Defender, Hammerhawk, Jewel, LWS inc., Mysto Dysto, Rusty Cage Records.
* Martyr will replace Powervice on the Tilburg headbangers festival. Martyr also updated their website and added a guestbook. Be sure to leave a sign.
Heavy Metal Bulletin 28/8/2006:
* Defender are writing/recording new material for a new Defender release. In this cool interview from Quintessence the band announced they might even do some concerts in Europe.
* In december there will be a (double) Dutch Steel attack again! Bands that will play on 8 December (Aschaffenburg) and 9 December (Gerolstein): Vortex, Martyr & Powervice. For more info, see the concertguide (including flyer). Vortex will also play a concert in hometown Groningen together with Attacker. That will be the first gig with new bassplayer René Zonneveld.
* Accelerate, one of the 'newer' Dutch heavy metal bands, have released their first 4 track EP! For more information, visit their website. Be sure to check them out at the Heavy Metal Maniacs festival.
Heavy Metal Bulletin 1/8/2006:
* Rusty Cage Records released some great Dutch stuff on Cd. Sword/Jewel, Mysto Dysto, Defender, Hammerhawk, LWS. Visit their website for more information or place any orders.
* Dutch legends MARTYR played recently in Germany on the Headbangers Open Air with Rop van Haaren on vocals.
Rop was the old singer in their early demo period.
They played only their classix and the audience loved it.
There are rumours about a new studio album. Is this true?
Some concert newsssss:
* At the 16th September INFLUENCE will play at the Swordbrothers festival. It will be the last gig with singer Bas Assenbroek.
* At the 30th September in Tilburg the Headbangers Fest will be held. Very interesting is the reunion of RED DRAGON. Anyone remember their song from the Metal Power 7'' ?
* At the 7th October Dutch Steel fans can go to Geleen, Holland. At the Hanehof the Eternal Rock festival will be held. Dutch bands: VENGEANCE and POWERVICE.
* At the 28th october the next HM Maniacs festival will be held. Dutch bands involved are ACCELERATE and SNAKES & SIRENS.
* Spoke with William Lawson from ANGUS recently. He's doing ok nowadays, but unfortunaly no news on the Angus front. He's enjoying life with his wife and kid and only listens to music nowadays.
* VORTEX has a new bassplayer after the departure of Harry Brinkman. His name: René Zonneveld.
