WARWICK - NOORDWOLDE (GRONINGEN) 1982

BIOGRAPHY: The band around band leader Hans Meurs formed in ’82. After a short period the band already played own written songs at live gigs. The music is typical NWOBHM with good melodies and many tempo breaks. Due to the support of the regional radio station, Radio Noord, the band’s name get more and more known. Even on national radio, on KRO’s Rocktempel, their songs are played. Plans are made for a tour in Poland, but that doesn’t work out for some reason, but things look good for the band at that time. In ’83 the band releases a 7’’ ‘I want to Live’ (side A) ‘Save Me’ (side B). In the middle of the recordings Eddy Veyer quits and Hans Elmers fills in. ‘I want to Live’ is a real anthem, NWOBHM style! Hearing the song the 1st  time it will stay in your head ‘I want to stay, i want to give, i want to live’.  You can hear the MP3 on this site.
What followed is a long period of line up changes which slowed the band down. Jannes Bloemert, who is known from his work in ELISE and VAULT, also was a member of the band at some time. In ’84 the band has, again, a new line up and plans are made for making an LP for Universe Records. This time the band has a keyboard player and a 14 year old drummer in their line up. The LP is never made and probably the reason the band splits up later. A huge problem of this band...too many line up changes.
